She had a great birthday party and is now in LOVE with her elephant hand puppet and the little chair that she likes to scoot all around the house with her animals in it. We put socks on the chair so it wouldn't scratch up the floor.
We are also working on sleeping in our own bed. So right now the routine is to fall asleep with momma and then one of us moves her into her own bed. Then she usually wakes up around 3 - 4 and wants a bottle and to crawl in bed with us. Hey its progress. I am sleeping much better without her in the bed and she is drinking less during the night. Slowly we are trying to wean her off the bottle at night. First goal is to get her to stop taking a bottle in the middle of the night the second is to not have a bottle right before bed. I'm convinced she will start eating more during the day if she drinks less at night.
We are breaking all the rules I'm sure regarding sleeping in your own bed and weaning from bottles but it is what works for us right now.
Yesterday E'llee was also very intent on being able to do a somersault. She can get into the position but then tucking her head and getting over onto her back can be difficult. today is her gymnastics class so maybe this afternoon we can practice.
